At ATC, our responsibility is not restricted to supplying our customers with excellent products in the best conditions. As a European manufacturer of speciality chemicals, our duty is to guarantee our customers that the products they buy and use strictly comply with regulatory standards.
All ATC France products comply with European Regulation no. 1907/2006 concerning the registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemicals (REACH). This regulation was adopted to provide greater protection for human health and the environment against risks related to chemical substances.
Since all leathers manufactured and imported into Europe must comply with REACH, our customers can be safe in the knowledge that the supply of speciality chemicals required to treat their skins at ATC make them compliant with this regulation.
All bactericides and fungicides at ATC France comply with European Regulation BPR EU/528/2012 (EU Biocides Regulation).
This regulation concerns the bringing to market and use of biocidal products used to protect humans, animals, materials and items against harmful organisms, such as fungi and bacteria, by the action of active substances contained in biocidal products.
CLP Regulation no. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament aims to ensure that the dangers presented by chemicals are clearly communicated to workers and consumers in the European Union through the classification and labelling of chemical products.
The labelling of speciality chemicals from ATC France complies with this new regulation.
For many years, ATC has banned all substances on the Restricted Substances List" (RSL) for buyers in its products.
The leathers manufactured using ATC France products therefore meet the strict standards of the biggest international textile, footwear and consumer goods labels and brands.
We also guarantee our customers that ATC France products comply with the Manufacturers Restricted Substances List (MRSL) developed by ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals), a group of leading international brands.
